SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR WBC

For safety reasons, all protocols should be followed. So what are the safety protocols?

For safety reasons, the cooling chamber should only be entered under supervision.

THE USER SHOULD ENTER THE CRYOTHERAPY CHAMBER WEARING THE FOLLOWING PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

  • Swimwear
  • Face Masks
  • Ear protection
  • Gloves
  • Socks
  • Closed shoes

Once inside the chamber, you can leave the therapy room at any time by simply pushing the door open.
Recommended treatment time is 3 minutes - During treatment time users can move but must be sure not to touch the sides of the chamber.

BEFORE ENTERING THE CHAMBER, THE USER SHOULD UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should not be removed at any time during the
    Whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) session
  • When entering the chamber you must be free of moisture - you must not enter the
chamber wearing wet/damp clothing, your hair must be dry and your skin free
    from moisture/oil
  • DO NOT touch the inner walls of the chamber

To maintain a cold temperature please ensure the door to the treatment chamber is closed
as soon as possible when entering and exiting the chamber.

When the cryo chamber doors are opened, fog flows outside, this is not a threat and is due
to freezing moisture in the air.
